L’ergothérapie auprès des blessés de guerre n’a cessé d’évoluer au cours de l’histoire. Rythmé
par les différentes guerres qu’a subies notre société au début du XXème siècle, le champ
d’action de l’ergothérapeute s’est considérablement diversifié. Aujourd’hui, il fait partie des
équipes pluridisciplinaires accompagnant la rééducation, la réadaptation et la réinsertion de ces
mutilés. Cependant, le peu d’articles existant en France sur le sujet de l’intervention en
ergothérapie auprès de cette population ne permet pas d’identifier ce qui est actuellement réalisé
sur le terrain. L’intérêt de notre étude est de pouvoir déterminer l’impact de la prise en charge
en ergothérapie sur le traumatisé de guerre. Pour ce faire, nous avons réalisé des entretiens
auprès de deux ergothérapeutes travaillant en structures de santé militaires pour identifier leurs
missions. Il s’en est dégagé que l’ergothérapeute permet la résilience du patient et facilite son
engagement et sa participation occupationnelle.

Occupational therapy for the war wounded has evolved throughout history. In the course of the
various wars in our society at the beginning of the 20th century, the occupational therapist's
field of activity has diversified considerably. Today, he is part of the multidisciplinary teams
accompanying the rehabilitation and reintegration of these mutilated people. However, the few
articles existing in France on the subject of occupational therapy intervention with this
population does not make it possible to identify what is currently being done in the field. The
interest of our study is to be able to determine the impact of occupational therapy treatment on
war trauma victims. To do this, we conducted interviews with two occupational therapists
working in military health structures to identify their missions. It emerged that the occupational
therapist enables the patient's resilience and facilitates his or her occupational involvement and
