  • People living with schizophrenia present usually social cognition disorders generating disabilities. The goal of this study was to show how occupational therapists contribute to increase social participation through cognitive remediation programmes. To this end four semi-structured interviews were carried out with therapists. They underlined the variety of factors affecting social participation’s improvement and highlighted the importance of transferring the knowledges. Therefore, cognitive remediation programmes provide participation in some conditions. However results are not representative of the whole population because of the limited number of respondents. Thereby, occupational therapists offer their gains on the ecological assessment and the proposition of activities within the city.
