Objectif: La SEP est une pathologie évolutive responsable de nombreux symptômes pouvant impacter la vie à domicile. Comment l’ergothérapeute collabore avec l’environnement familial et les professionnels qui accompagnent la personne atteinte de SEP pour faciliter l’acceptation des aménagements de logement ?
Méthode: La méthode utilisée est quantitative. Un questionnaire de 41 questions a été envoyé à des ergothérapeutes ayant réalisé des projets d’aménagement auprès des personnes atteintes de SEP. 59 réponses ont pu être analysées.
Résultats: 89.6% des ergothérapeutes impliquent fréquemment la famille au projet et la majorité exprime qu’il est important de travailler en équipe interdisciplinaire.
Conclusion: C’est un projet particulier nécessitant la prise en compte des troubles cognitifs qui compliquent l’acceptation en impliquant l’entourage.

Objective: Multiple sclerosis is a progressive disease, responsible for numerous symptoms which could have repercussions at home. How does the occupational therapist collaborate with the family environment and the professionals who accompany the person with MS to facilitate the acceptance of home adaptation?
Method: A quantitative method was chosen. A survey using 41 questions was sent to occupational therapists who had already carried out adaptation project with people with MS. 59 responses were analysed.
Results: 89.6% of occupational therapists (OTs) frequently involved the family in the project and the majority thought it was important to work in interdisciplinary teams.
