L’évolution de la maladie de Parkinson s’accompagne de complications motrices venants entraver la réalisation des occupations des personnes atteintes. Le but de cette recherche est de comprendre l’intervention de l’ergothérapeute pour aider à maintenir la performance occupationnelle des personnes souffrant de fluctuations motrices. L’utilisation de la Mesure Canadienne du Rendement Occupationnel (MCRO) pourrait être un moyen d’identifier ces difficultés et de proposer un accompagnement adapté aux complications de cette pathologie. Afin de vérifier cette hypothèse, une enquête a été menée auprès de quatre ergothérapeutes accompagnant cette population. Les résultats de cette étude exposent la pertinence de la MCRO pour identifier les difficultés perçues dans les occupations. Toutefois, les ergothérapeutes ne prennent pas nécessairement appui sur cet outil pour aborder celles provoquées par les fluctuations motrices. D’autres moyens, utilisés en ergothérapie, ont été énoncé dans cette investigation, pour aider à maintenir les performances occupationnelles de la personne.

The evolution of Parkinson's disease is accompanied by motor complications that interfere the performance in occupations. This work aims to understand how occupational therapists can help patients to maintain occupational performance with motor fluctuations. The Canadian Occupational Performance Measure (COPM) would be a means to identify these difficulties and to propose an appropriate support. An investigation was conducted with four occupational therapists to verify the relevance of this tool in addressing this problematic. The COPM seems to be adapted to the difficulties encountered by Parkinson’s disease patients in their occupations. However, occupational therapists do not necessarily use the tool to address those generated by motor fluctuations. Other ways, used in occupational therapy, was mentioned to manage these difficulties.
