L’environnement néonatal a une influence sur le développement du nouveau-né prématuré, notamment sur les stimulations sensorielles. Ces nouveau-nés sont particulièrement sensibles aux bruits, lumières, manipulations et mouvements fréquents en soins intensifs face à un environnement sensoriel inadapté. Ces stimulations peuvent compromettre leur stabilité, leur développement. L’ergothérapeute intervention dans l’adaptation de l’environnement, dans le but de moduler ces stimuli et soutenir l’autorégulation du bébé. En collaboration avec les familles, il contribue à créer un cadre sensoriel apaisant et stimulant, favorisant ainsi le développement global de l’enfant. The neonatal environment influences the development of the premature newborn, particularly in terms of sensory stimulation.
