L’accès aux aides techniques fait partie des droits des personnes en situation de handicap
depuis la loi du 11 février 2005. La WFOT dans un rapport de 2012 encourage les
ergothérapeutes à promouvoir des pratiques durables. Comment les ergothérapeutes
travaillant en maisons départementale des personnes handicapées (MDPH) et en centres
d’information et de conseil en aides techniques (CICAT) intègrent-ils la notion de durée
d’usage dans la préconisation des aides techniques ? Ma première hypothèse est que les
ergothérapeutes de MDPH et de CICAT prennent en compte la robustesse et la réparabilité
des produits dans la préconisation des aides techniques. La seconde est que les
ergothérapeutes de MDPH et de CICAT ont connaissance des structures de réemploi. Afin de
répondre à cette question, la recherche a été réalisée auprès d’ergothérapeutes travaillant en
MDPH et en CICAT. J’ai interrogé les professionnels grâce à un questionnaire. J’ai obtenu 55
réponses.
Les résultats montrent que dans la préconisation, la réparabilité est un facteur moins pris en
compte par les ergothérapeutes que la robustesse. Si les professionnels ont connaissance des
structures de réemploi, les freins qui les empêchent d’y avoir recours davantage sont
nombreux.

Access to technical devices is part of the rights of people with disabilities since the law of 11
February 2005. The WFOT in a 2012 report encourages occupational therapists to promote
sustainable practices. How do occupational therapists working in departmental houses for the
disabled (MDPH) and information and advice centers for technical devices (CICAT) integrate
the notion of duration of use in the recommendation of technical devices? My first hypothesis
is MDPH and CICAT occupational therapists take robustness and reparability into account
when recommending technical devices. The second is that MDPH and CICAT occupational
therapists are aware of reuse structures. To answer this question, the research was realized
with occupational therapists working in MDPH and CICAT. I questioned professionals with a
survey. I obtained 55 answers.
The results proved that, in the recommendation, reparability is a factor less taken into account
by occupational therapists than robustness. Although professionals are aware of reuse
