L’amputation traumatique entraîne un impact majeur tant sur le plan physique que psychologique. Dans ce contexte, l’implication du patient dans sa rééducation constitue un levier essentiel pour favoriser sa reconstruction. Ce mémoire a pour objectif de comprendre comment l’ergothérapeute peut favoriser cet engagement occupationnel chez des adultes amputés suite à un accident de la voie publique, notamment à travers l’utilisation de la MCRO et de l’entretien motivationnel. Dans le cadre de cette étude qualitative, des entretiens semi-directifs ont été menés auprès de trois ergothérapeutes. L’analyse des résultats met en évidence l’utilisation informelle de ces outils, prouvant néanmoins leur efficacité sur l’engagement occupationnel à travers l’application de leurs principes. Cependant, il serait pertinent d’approfondir l’utilisation de ces techniques et des notions qui y sont attachées dans le but d’évaluer l’impact sur l’engagement à plus grande échelle et de renforcer leur inclusion en rééducation.

Traumatic amputation has a major physical and psychological impact. In this context, the patient's involvement in his or her rehabilitation is an essential lever for promoting reconstruction. The aim of this research is to understand how occupational therapists can encourage this occupational engagement in adults who have undergone amputation following a road accident, in particular through the use of CMOP and motivational interviewing. As part of this qualitative study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with three occupational therapists. Analysis of the results highlights the informal use of these tools, nevertheless they prove their effectiveness on occupational engagement through the application of their principles. However, the use of these techniques and related concepts should be studied in greater depth, with a view to assessing their impact on engagement on a larger scale and reinforcing their inclusion in rehabilitation.
