Introduction : Les troubles cognitifs induits par la chimiothérapie, appelés dans la littérature
anglo-saxonne « chemobrain » sont un des effets secondaires encore méconnus mais fréquemment
ressenties par les femmes atteintes d’un cancer du sein. Le chemobrain ne semble pas toujours
objectivé via les tests neuropsychologiques. Ainsi, l’ergothérapeute qui est une profession peu
développée dans le domaine de l’oncologie, pourrait en complémentarité avec les tests
neuropsychologiques, évaluer les répercussions cognitives dans le quotidien de ces personnes afin
d’accroitre leur qualité de vie. Objectif : L’objectif de cette recherche est de savoir si l’utilisation
du Perceive, Recall, Plan and Perform (PRPP) par l’ergothérapeute en complémentarité avec des
tests neuropsychologiques est pertinent pour objectiver les difficultés cognitives rencontrées par
ces femmes afin d’améliorer leur performance occupationnelle dans leur quotidien. Méthode :
J’ai réalisé une phase pré-exploratoire en interviewant un neuropsychologue ainsi qu’une phase
exploratoire en interrogeant trois ergothérapeutes formés au PRPP. Une analyse qualitative a
ensuite été réalisée. Résultats : Avec les entretiens réalisés auprès des différents professionnels,
l’évaluation écologique de type PRPP en complémentarité avec les tests neuropsychologiques
serait adaptée pour objectiver les difficultés cognitives ressenties dans les activités de vie
quotidiennes de ces femmes. Cependant, il serait davantage pertinent pour les troubles cognitifs
considérés comme légers. Conclusion : Les résultats de cette recherche permettent de conclure
que l’intervention de l’ergothérapeute en phase d’évaluation pour les répercussions du
chemobrain serait pertinente en complémentarité avec les tests neuropsychologiques.

Introduction : The cognitive impairment induces at chemotherapy, named in the Anglo Saxon
literature « chemobrain » are one of the style unknow side effects but frequently felt by women
with breast cancer. The chemobrain does not always seem to be objectified via
neuropsychological tests. Thus, the occupational therapist, which is an underdeveloped profession
in the field of oncology, could in complementary which neuropsychological tests, assess cognitive
repercussions in the daily lives of these people in order to increase their quality of life. Objectives
: The objective of this research is to know if the use of the Perceive, Recall, Plan and Perform
(PRPP) by the occupational therapist in complementarity with neuropsychological tests is relevant
for to objectify the cognitive difficulties encountered by these women in order to improve their
occupational performance in their daily life. Method : I realized a pre-exploratory phase by
interviewing a neuropsychologist as well as an exploratory phase by interviewing three
occupational therapists trained in the PRPP. A qualitative analysis was then carried out. Results :
With the interviews near different professionals, the ecological assessment PRPP in
complementary with neuropsychological tests would be suitable to objectify the cognitive
difficulties felt in the activities of daily living. However, it would be more relevant for cognitive
disorders considered mild. Conclusion : The results of this research lead to the conclusion that the
intervention of the occupational therapist in the evaluation phase of the chemobrain would be
