Les personnes atteintes de Trisomie 21 peuvent rencontrer des difficultés
pour s’insérer dans le domaine professionnel. L’ergothérapeute peut pallier celles-ci par
différents aménagements, outils et moyens de compensation. L’objectif de cette étude
est de comprendre l’importance de l’analyse de l’évaluation des compétences sociales
via les outils du Modèle de l’Occupation Humaine en ergothérapie, afin de faciliter
l’insertion professionnelle des personnes atteintes de Trisomie 21. Pour vérifier cela,
des entretiens auprès de quatre ergothérapeutes travaillant dans le domaine de
l’insertion professionnelle avec des personnes atteintes déficiences intellectuelles ont
été effectués. Une approche hypothético-déductive avec une analyse thématique a été
réalisée. Les résultats ont montré l’importance des compétences sociales dans
l’insertion professionnelle et le rôle de l’ergothérapeute dans ce domaine. Pour donner
suite à ce travail de recherche, il serait envisageable d’interroger plus d’ergothérapeutes
utilisant le MOH pour mettre en corrélation les données recueillies.

People with Down syndrome can have difficulties to integrate in the
professional field. Occupational therapists (OT) can alleviate these difficulties by using
different workplace layout, tools, and compensation strategy. The objective of this study
is to understand the importance of the analysis of the evaluation of social skills using the
tools of the MOHO in occupational therapy, in order to facilitate the professional
integration of people with Down syndrome. To verify this, semi structured interviews with
four occupational therapists working in the field of occupational integration with people
with intellectual disabilities were conducted. A hypothetical-deductive approach with a
thematic analysis was carried out. The outcomes highlight the importance of social skills
in the vocational integration and the role of the occupational therapy in this field. As a
follow-up to this research, it would be conceivable to interview more occupational
