Introduction : Le nombre d’étudiants à l’Université ayant un trouble du spectre de l’autisme sans déficit intellectuel associé augmente de 40 % chaque année. Ces étudiants sont confrontés à de multiples problèmes qui peuvent interférer avec leur performance occupationnelle pour étudier. En France, il n’existe pas d’outil spécifique que l’ergothérapeute puisse utiliser pour recueillir et établir les difficultés rencontrées par les étudiants dans leur cursus universitaire. Le Trinity Student Profile (TSP) a été développé en Irlande par Clodagh Nolan pour accompagner les étudiants ayant des troubles de santé mentale. Cet instrument est construit sur le modèle conceptuel Personne-Environnement-Occupation. Objectif : Développer et valider une version française du TSP. Méthode : Il s’agit d’une recherche basée sur le design. La méthode consisterait en un processus de traduction et d’adaptation transculturelle suivant les étapes suivantes : Autorisation ; Traduction et harmonisation ; Retro-traduction et harmonisation ; Révision de la version finale ; Evaluation. Résultats : Le résultat attendu est l’obtention d’une version française du TSP dont la validité et la fidélité auront été vérifiées. La validité de construit de la version traduite sera déterminée par analyse factorielle et la cohérence interne par calcul du coefficient de Cronbach, la fidélité test-retest sera déterminée avec le coefficient interclasse ou le coefficient de kappa. Les résultats seront comparés à celui du TSP initial et analysé en fonction des recommandations Conclusion : Le processus de validation n’a pas pu être entamé car le TSP subit actuellement une révision. Cette recherche établit les étapes du protocole qui pourront permettre d’obtenir ces résultats.

Introduction: The number of students with autism spectrum disorder without intellectual disability at University increases by 40% each year. These students are facing multiple concerns that can interfere with their occupational performance of studying. In France, there are no specific tool that occupational therapist can use to capture and profile the difficulties students are experiencing in their university course. The Trinity Student Profile (TSP) has been developed in Ireland by Clodagh Nolan to support students experiencing mental health problems. This instrument is built on the Person-Environment-Occupation model. Objective: To develop and validate a French version of the TSP. Method: This is a design-based research. The method would be a translation and cross-cultural adaptation process following these steps: Permission. Translation and reconciliation; Back-translation and reconciliation; Review of final version; Evaluation. Results: The expected result is the achievement of a French version of the TSP that would have been tested for validity and reliability. The construct validity of the translated version will be determined by factor analysis and the internal consistency by with the Cronbach's coefficient, the test-retest reliability will be determined with the inter-class coefficient or the kappa coefficient. The results will be compared to the initial TSP and analysed according to the recommendations Conclusion: The validation process could not be initiated because the TSP is currently undergoing revision. This research establishes the steps in the protocol that will allow us to obtain these results.
