La maladie de parkinson est une maladie neurodégénérative affectant
majoritairement les personnes âgées. Les symptômes ont des répercussions sur les capacités
motrices, cognitives et psychiques entrainant des restrictions de participation dans la réalisation
des activités de la vie quotidienne. L’objectif de ce mémoire d’initiation à la recherche est de
comprendre comment l’aménagement du domicile permet à la personne atteinte de la maladie
de Parkinson de maintenir sa participation occupationnelle dans les activités de vie quotidienne.
Quatre entretiens semi-structurés ont été menés auprès d’ergothérapeutes afin d’explorer leurs
pratiques à domicile. Il a été mis en évidence que l’aménagement du domicile ainsi que la
préconisation d’aide technique sont principalement utilisés par les ergothérapeutes lors de leurs
accompagnements et tendent à favoriser le maintien de la participation occupationnelle.

Parkinson's disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that mainly affects the
elderly. Symptoms have repercussions on motor, cognitive and psychological capacities,
leading to restrictions in participation in daily life activities. The aim of this introductory
research dissertation is to understand how home fitting enables people with Parkinson's disease
to maintain their occupational participation in daily life activities. Four semi-structured
interviews were conducted with occupational therapists to explore their practices at the patient’s
home. It was found that occupational therapists mainly focus on fitting out home and the
recommendation of technical aids when providing support to help maintain occupational
